Global Anonymous Love Letters

You are loved. Are you thinking, who me? I would probably be thinking that if I found this letter... Yes, you!

Love Your Children NOW

Every morning I meditate and this is the message I received this morning. I know it will be helpful advice for someone today, for struggling parents, especially single parents. Remember the "she" goes equally for "he."


Love the child now.
She will be gone in a few years.
And she won't have time for you in the future.
If you don't have time for her now.

Love is the answer.

Boomerangs

Love is a boomerang. It comes back to you multiplied. Love expands, seeks new heights. Love expands to fill the container, and extends out thru the confinement by smoothing an escape path and when it makes an opening, the opening stretches and the container sublimates, curls back into itself, creating a flower-like shape out of the vessel.

Who wrote this?

Sounds like some of the new age authors I devour voraciously, but it was me. I must have been in a good mood that morning.

Eat Your Heart Out

That's a weird expression. Eat your heat out. Eat to your heart's content? I have to look into these and find out how they came about.

I'm reading Eat, Pray, Love and it is very funny. And I'm wondering about the eating part. The author is trying to mend her broken heart. She traveled to Italy first to try every kind of food available. The description of pizza in Naples is indescribably delicious!

I am listening to some tapes that are amazingly profound. The wisdom and clarity contained on these tapes is stunning; it’s just astonishing! The 3 tapes are called the Quest, The Love Trilogy: Love, Passion, and the Soul. There are 3 tapes: the first is about Love, the second about Soulmates, and the third about the Spiritual Practice of Ecstasy. On each tape are 6 different modern thinkers featured, who share their insights about each topic.

I borrowed this set of tapes from the local library and passed them along to my husband, who enjoyed them so much we bought them. The thing is, they contain so much wisdom that you can listen to them repeatedly and catch something new and profound each time. There is an Irish poet quoted on 2 of the tapes, John O’Donohue, whom I never heard of before, but my husband has recently purchased 3 of his books. He was that impressed by what he said on the tapes.

I can wholeheartedly recommend these tapes to anyone who has ever wondered “why?” They are about love, life, the universe, and everything. They answer many questions. And if you don’t find the answer the first time around, they are easy to listen to again.

These tapes were produced for public television, who produced some sort of series, which I assume was televised at some point. I would love to see the videos. I just haven’t encountered them yet.
