I try to be amusing. Sometimes I try to be jocular or waggish, or even facetious (lightly amusing).

The day before someone compared me to Dave Barry.

Yes! Someone told me that Dave Barry is way more funny than I am!

Well, I take it as a compliment. Just to be in the same sentence is flattering!
